The December 2009 Newsletter is ready.

In our newsletter this month:

• Planet Longhorn had its first annual Thanksgiving dinner in the Jefferson 26 Games Room. Everyone brought a dish unique to their country, and we all enjoyed an international dinner.
• Planet Longhorn collected 135 cans of food, 131 pounds of food, at their Rooftop Party. Everything was donated to the Austin Food Bank.
• Alumni of the Month: Hanan Townshend of Victoria University, Wellington: “Studying in Austin has been the most rewarding experience of my life thus far! It would not have happened the same without Planet Longhorn.”

Planet Longhorn is saying goodbye to the semester and hello to the holidays with, of course, an AWESOME PARTY!!

This Saturday. House of Guys. Price = $5. A.W.E.S.O.M.E.

We will be giving out awards (with trophies and a sash) for the following categories:

Mr. Planet Longhorn
Ms. Planet Longhorn
Cutest Couple
Best Halloween Costume (it’s a little late, but we promised we’d have this. See, Planet Longhorn doesn’t lie. Usually.)

We will be projecting a slideshow of great photos from this semester on the wall inside, so send James Chiang a facebook message if you have any photos you want included.

We might also have a picture area set up for you to take your own holiday photos with everyone you love, or even the people you don’t!

The party will officially start as soon as the UT football game ends because it’s a big game! Lets drink until we think we see Santa!!!**

**Please don’t actually chase after Santa if you do, in fact, think you see him. It is probably a car, or a scared bearded man wearing red running away from you.
