The Castilian is an off-campus student dorm which is located right in the middle of the drag. The drag is Guadalupe Street from Martin Luther King Blvd to 30th St, and it is the main hub of UT campus. Also, The Castillian is located right at the start of West Campus which is the hub for student night life (this is where most students live and is home to all the fraternities and sororities). The Castillian is also very reasonably priced.

Jefferson West Apartments are another great housing option right in the heart of West Campus. Jefferson West supplies everyone room with a free 42″ HD TV, hardwood or stained concrete floors, full size washer and dryers, contemporary track lighting, and balconies. Also, Jefferson West has an on-site tanning salon, resort-style pool, coffee bar, and fitness center. The best part about Jefferson is its central location and medium price range. It isn’t the cheapest apartment you can find, but you get a lot for your value.

Dobie is the same set-up as The Castillian (100% student off-campus dorm); the only real difference is the location and cost. Dobie is a little more expensive, and is located on the corner of 21st St and the drag. It has a mall and movie theater below which is definitely a cool thing to have. Also, at Dobie, you may be able to have a larger room with 3 roomates as opposed to just 1 (depending on what they have left).
