What’s the only thing more awesome than camping? Planet Longhorn. And now Planet Longhorn is going camping… Holy. Crap. Prepare for the best night EVER. Well that is… unless we encounter something much less awesome than Planet Longhorn or camping….

We’ll leave at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 8th and have lunch at a BBQ place just outside of Krause Springs. Then we have a full day and night to enjoy the natural springs, make a sweet bonfire, and enjoy the great Texas outdoors! We’ll have dinner with S’mores for dessert, the ultimate American camping snack! We will head back to campus Sunday morning and plan on being back before 1pm.

Things to bring camping:

- blankets and pillows, or you can rent a sleeping bag from the UT Outdoor Recreation Center:

- money for BBQ lunch
- towels
- alcohol (NO GLASS ALLOWED)
- sunscreen
- extra snacks
- flashlights and ghost stories
- guns and knives for wildlife protection: bears, wolves, etc. (just kidding)
- anddd… drinks if you want them. But not in glass containers.

******Due to the intense planning required for this event if you DO NOT come to collection times or pay us on PayPal you will NOT be able to come to the event**** and we want you to come so please PLEASE come to collection times! =)

Cost of the event will be $25. This will cover the $10 admission price to the camping site, tent rentals, transportation, dinner on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday morning. This event is open to all ages!
